Today is Valentines day. People will be celebrating by scurrying in a panic to buy those last minute cards and gifts. We did all our exchanges here at home this morning before the kids went to school.
Today is also the first day of spring training for the St. Louis Cardinals, my favorite baseball team. Hope springs eternal, even though they still have a few holes to fill, but hey, if they can make it to the playoffs, and the pitchers hit a hot streak, you never know what may happen. Look at what happened in '06--a world series championship!
Anyway, pitchers and catchers report today down in Jupiter, Florida. That makes it a good day.
Oh yeah, and Happy Valentines Day. Hallmark and FTD love you.
