Gateway Arch

Our vacation included a trip to the Gateway Arch. We enjoyed the museum. Lauren, the girls, and Frederick took the tram to the top. Abe and I stayed downstairs to shop.

We went on vacation...

We went on a vacation, spending the first night with friends in Tupelo, MS. We stayed at their cabin on a pond. It was a good time. Here is a pic of the fam. Frederick didn't really want to take a picture. He just wanted to play on his kindle.

All in all....

All in all, a good day, ran 5k. Co, Ber, Bri ran about .5 mi and Abe ran .75 mi with me. Did some housework. All the women folk got awesome haircuts. Ber finished her vocals for hf2. Completed 4 basic tracks on my (non kids) next album. Watched a soccer game on tv. Life is good.

Colette Wins Big!

Last night was the 6th grade awards presentation. Colette had a great night, coming away with several honors, including winning the D.A.R.E. Essay in her class (and now going to the district competition), and receiving the Presidential Gold Education Award. She averaged an "A" through her grade school years. I'm a proud Dad!

Zoo

Lauren took the girls to see the play "Wicked". so I took the boys to the zoo. We had a good a time, although I think they enjoyed the snowballs, the carousel, and playing in the waterpark "Cool Zoo" more than looking at the animals.

5K

I ran my first 5K yesterday! Pretty stoked. Didn't stop, didn't walk. Lauren ( a two-time state champ), finished 2nd.
