A Lost Month

This is what I refer to as a lost month. Long story short, I've been at work way too much this month due to personnel turnover. Things should get back to normal in about a week. Maybe I can be a little more regular with the blog then. Until then I will mention a few things that have been going on.
My very good friend Mike Gassmann had his mother, Carol, pass away recently and it was quite unexpected. This sort of thing is always very sad of course, but this one hit pretty close to home so to speak and I have been quite upset about it.
Our home has been invaded by a swarm of bees. Thousands of them. It's like something out of a horror movie, I kid you not. We've had a beekeeper guy over here several times waging battle and I think we about have it under control. Basically the bees had somehow set up in the framework of one of our entrance doors, and eventually migrated inside. So far, only me and Colette have not been stung. Frederick got it twice, on the foot, Lauren and Bridget on the hand and Bernadette on the knee.
Pregnant wife is feeling pregnant. Things are going well so far. She is getting several jobs through her new freelance graphic business she set up. I'm very proud of her.
Some bands I've been listening to on my ipod lately: Artful Dodger, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Bill Haley and His Comets, The Monkees. I pretty much only listen to music when I'm in my car.
Frederick's new hobby is counting. He does it in both french and english. It's pretty funny.
We are having a birthday party for Fredrick (2) and Bernadette (6) next week. I'm supposed to play a few songs on guitar. Originally I was going to play about 7 or 8, but my lack of time has diminished that to about 2 or 3. I just haven't had time to learn any kids songs.
